Colombia indigenous leader killed in Cauca province

 

An indigenous spiritual leader has been killed in south-western Colombia amid mounting tension between his tribe and left-wing rebels.Lisandro Tenorio, a traditional healer of the Nasa tribe, was shot dead by unidentified gunmen on Sunday. Members of his tribe said he had received death threats from Colombia's largest rebel group, the Farc. The Nasa have demanded that the rebels and the Colombian security forces leave their land. 

Robert Pattinson to play Lawrence of Arabia in new film

 

Robert Pattinson, 26, is to star as Lawrence Of Arabia 50 years after the original film was released. The Twilight star will play British army officer TE Lawrence in Werner Herzog's movie, Queen Of The Desert, according to a report on Variety. King Kong actress Naomi Watts will play Gertrude Bell in the film, which will focus on the English writer's life.
